Bindiya was discovered at a party, when she was just fourteen years old, by superstar Hema Malini's mother. She felt that Bindiya had a resemblance to Hema and recommended her to film producers. Her first Hindi film was "Jeevan Jyoti" where she co-starred with Vijay Arora whose career was on the decline, and the film flopped. Bindiya forged on ahead and soon became a success starring for director Basu Chatterjee in Khatta Meetha (1977) and Prem Vivah (1979). However, her biggest hit was for director Hrishikesh Mukherjee in the comedy Gol Maal (1979).[1] That film's success led her to take Hema Malini's place in the big-budget film Shaan (1980), because Hema was busy with her other film commitments. However, movie was declared as 'average' although it did and still doing good business, but Bindiya Goswami's role was not noticed.[2] She also appeared in popular film Dada (1979) alongside
Bipasha Basu (born 7 January 1979)[1] nicknamed "Bips" is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi language films. She has also worked in Telugu, Bengali and Tamil language films. She had a successful modeling career before venturing into films.[2]
She debuted in a negative role in Ajnabee (2001) which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Her first commercial success was Raaz (2002). She was then noticed for her bold role in the erotic thriller film, Jism (2003).[3] She starred in top grossing films like – No Entry(2005), Phir Hera Pheri, Dhoom 2 (both 2006) – her biggest commercial success till date and Race (2008). After a relatively low phase(2009–2011) she appeared in Raaz 3 (2012) which was a commercial success and also her role being highly praised by film critics. Having done so, has established herself as a leading contemporary actress in Bollywood.[4] Known for her bold on-screen image and candid confession of her private life, she is frequently named in the media as a "sex symbol".
Anupama Verma is a supermodel, actress, and television personality from Delhi. She was discovered by well known celebrity photographer Shantanu Sheorey when she was in ninth grade. Her first modeling assignment was with Shekhar Kapur for Digjam suiting. Daughter of a fighter pilot, she has travelled various parts of the country
A face which is a photographers delight,Anupama has been a cover girl for many leading Indian magazines, and has launched a huge range of consumer products such as Loreal, Cinthol, Fair and Lovely, Ponds, Pantene, Lipton,Braun, Monte Carlo among others.
Apart from modelling, Anupama had a successful parallel career in television as a VJ on Channel [V].
She also acted in Doordarshan channel's serial program "Ankhen" where she plays the protagonist, who can foresee crimes that are immediately committed after she has seen them.
Anupama featured in the remix video of Biddu's mega hit song Boom Boom sung by the Pakistani singer Nazia Hassan, further increasing her popularity.
She was also seen in Bali Brahmbhatt's "Tere bin jeena nahi" with Bikram Saluja, Leslie Lewis' "Bheegi bheegi raaton mein" videos. She was also a contestant on Big Boss Season 1 on Sony Tv.
She has an MBA degree in Marketing & Finance from.
Kim was born in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. She has 3 sisters.[3] Kim did her schooling at St. Joseph's Convent in Panchgani. She then returned to her hometown and joined a junior college. Of her college days, she said 'Having studied in a boarding school, where most of the girls were from aboard, living and studying in Ahmednagar came as a culture shock'. While in her twelfth standard, she decided to quit studies. As one of the famous faces of Ahmednagar college, she was offered many fashion shows.
