Zubeida was only 12 when she made her debut in Kohinoor. Through the 1920s she made infrequent appearances on screen along with Sultana(actress)Sultana who by then had become one of Indian cinema's loveliest leading ladies. One of the films to star the two sisters was Kalyan Khajina in 1924. They had also shared the screen in Zubeida's first blockbuster, Veer Abhimanyu released two years earlier, that also had their mother, Fatima Begum playing an important role.

In 1925 Zubeida had nine releases, amongst them Kala Chor, Devdasi and Desh Ka Dushman. A year later she starred in her mother's film, Bulbul-e-Paristan. 1927 was memorable for her with movies Laila Majnu, Nanand Bhojai and Naval Gandhi's Sacrifice which were very successful movies at this time.Tara (born as Anuradha) is a south Indian film actress who primarily works in Kannada films. She is also a politician with the Bharatiya Janata Party.[1] On March 15, 2012, Tara was elected as a chief president for the "Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy" (KCA) making her the first ever actor to hold the position.[2] Tara has featured in over 500 commercial and Parallel Cinema.
Known for her strong author backed roles, Tara has won the Best Actress award in the 2005 National Film Awards for her role in the film Hasina (film), which also received the Best Film on Family Welfare award.[3] It was her first major recognition in a film career spanning over two decades long.[4] Besides Kannada, she has acted in few Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films as well.Sukirti Kandpal is an Indian television actress.[1] She became popular through the television series Dill Mill Gayye, where she played the protagonist, Dr. Riddhima Gupta. She also appeared as Pia Dobriyal in Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. She plays the parallel female role of Jasbir "Jazz" in Rab Se Sohna Isshq.Priya Raman (born 14 September 1974) is a Malayalam actress and film producer. She has appeared in Tamil and Malayalam films and in television serials of both languages. Her first film was the Rajnikanth produced film Valli, in 1993. Her second film. Arthana, directed by I. V. Sasi and released in 1993 was her debut in Malayalam.
Malayalam Director Joshy cast her as an air force pilot in 1993 in Sainyam with Mammootty. In 1997 she appeared in Kalyanappittannu with Dileep, Bhoopathi with Suresh Gopi, Asuravamsham, Thumboli Kadappuram etc. with Manoj K Jayan and Aaram Thamburan with Mohanlal. In 2003 she produced the film Bheeshmar.[1][2][3]
Besides films, she has also appeared in a number of Tamil and Malayalam television serials like the Tamil serial Durga, Malayalam T.V serial Kavyanjali produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms (as "Anjali") and Orma (as "Girly").[4]
During the shooting of a Tamil film Nesam Pudhusu, she met actor Ranjith, whom she later married. They now live in Chennai and have one child.[5]Radhika attended the University of Pune, India where she did her Masters in Mass Communications. She featured in around 30 Indian films in multiple languages including in two high profile films, Tere Naam and Khushi, winning critical acclaim for her various roles and songs.
In 2010, she made a comeback of sorts as a director based in Los Angeles, and won the Silver Ace Award for Best Short Film at the Las Vegas Film Festival, for her critically acclaimed short film Orange Blossom. The film was shot in Los Angeles in a span of four days and the 17-minute film told the story of a single mother going through the pangs of separation from her husband; while making the folly of passing on too much information about herself and her family to a few strangers. Usha Kokotay played the protagonist, while others in the cast included Jeff Doucette and John Paul Ouvrier.
